Your efforts to recycle will help keep our city clean, green, and beautiful!

Recycling Tips: 

1.  Consider that you will need at least one (1) recycle bin placed next to each trash can and at least 10 recycle bins per 1,000 event participants.

2.  Always place recycle bins at entrances and exits.

3.  Most communities accept plastic bottles and aluminum cans but check with your local recycler.  

4.  Plastic bags or wrap can be collected but connect with your local H-E-B to recycle as many recyclers will not accept. 

5.  Monitor your bins for non-recyclable items – signs or volunteers at the bin can help reduce contamination. 

6.  When the bag is 2/3 full, remove and replace bag.  

7.  Use a luggage scale to weigh your recyclables 

8.  Announce the amount of recyclables collected at the end of the event.
