Adopt-A-Spot Litter Control

Adopt-a-Spot gives civic-minded individuals, organizations, and businesses the opportunity to participate in creating a cleaner, more beautiful San Antonio! Your group may choose to adopt a portion of a city street, several blocks, one or both sides of the street. The goal is to designate that area as yours to keep clean. Once a group has conducted one of three annual clean-ups, an Adopt-a-Spot sign with your organization's name or acronym on it will be installed at your adopted location. You must agree to sponsor the area for at least two (2) years.

When a community and its residents unite with beautification as a common purpose, transformations occur not only in the physical surroundings, but in the hearts and minds of everyone involved. Keep San Antonio Beautiful supports a wide variety of community beautification efforts.

Lend-A-Bin Recycling Program

Your efforts to recycle will help keep our city clean, green, and beautiful!

Recycling Tips: 

1.  Consider that you will need at least one (1) recycle bin placed next to each trash can and at least 10 recycle bins per 1,000 event participants.

2.  Always place recycle bins at entrances and exits.

Graffiti Wipe-Out

Graffiti Wipe-Out is a partner program of KSAB and Code Enforcement Services Division in an effort to educate and engage the public in graffiti abatement and prevention. KSAB has supported this program for many years by co-sponsoring Graffiti Wipe-Out Month and the annual poster contest for San Antonio youth.

Fiesta Verde

Keep San Antonio Beautiful volunteers help Keep Fiesta Verde by encouraging our community to recycle plastic bottles and aluminum cans during the Battle of Flowers and Fiesta Flambeau Parades.
